Traveling / PRN IONM Technologist - California

California (Bay Area & Fresno) | Travel & PRN | Variable Schedule

Our healthcare partner is seeking 1-3 Traveling and PRN IONM Technologists to cover cases throughout California, including the San Francisco Bay Area and Fresno. CNIM required.

You'll manage intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) cases in the operating room, including orthopedic spine, neuro, and vascular surgeries, using somatosensory evoked potentials, transcranial motor evoked potentials, and spontaneous and triggered electromyography.

What You'll Do

• Travel to surgical sites across California, with regular coverage in the Bay Area and Fresno.
• Independently monitor complex procedures with only general supervision.
• Acquire EEG, EP, and EMG data and detect and eliminate artifact.
• Describe EEG, EP, and EMG findings in a review-style format and learn new protocols as needed.
• Serve as a resource for junior staff.

What We're Looking For

• CNIM certification from ABRET required.
• Minimum 2 years of IOM experience.
• 4-year college degree in a science-related field.
• Valid California driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across the health system.
• Ability to legally work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• IOM experience with craniotomy cases.
• R.EEG.T. or R.EP.T. registration.
• Knowledge of hospital and medical center policies and procedures.

Compensation

• Salary range $90,000 to $130,000, plus benefits (full-time equivalent).
• Traveler and PRN opportunities available.
