Pruning Technologist – EEG
Location: Houston, TX | On-Site Role 

Are you a skilled EEG technologist with a passion for precision and patient impact? We're looking for a highly experienced Pruning Technologist to join our growing team and play a key role in preparing ambulatory EEG studies for physician review. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values both expertise and innovation.

About the Role

As a Pruning Technologist, you will be responsible for reviewing, condensing, and preparing long-term EEG studies to ensure clarity and accuracy for physician interpretation. Your attention to detail and advanced understanding of EEG patterns will directly contribute to timely and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prune ambulatory EEG studies in preparation for physician review

  • Accurately input patient demographics and exam details into standardized reporting templates

  • Ensure EEG data is correctly imported to the server and that physician access is enabled

  • Identify and escalate any missing or incomplete data to the appropriate team members

  • Utilize advanced EEG pattern recognition to highlight clinically significant findings

  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and professional standards of conduct

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the neurodiagnostic field with a strong understanding of EEG best practices

  • Active R. EEG T. certification required

  • Proven attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Recognized for leadership ability and team collaboration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

  • Must meet job function requirements consistent with ADA and industry standards

Work Conditions

  • Primarily office-based role in Houston, TX

  • Occasional remote work may be approved based on performance and operational needs

  • Must consistently meet quality and productivity expectations set by the company
