Surgical Neurophysiologist / IONM Technologist – Full-Time

Location: Reading, PA (Easy access to Philadelphia)

If you're the type of IONM professional who enjoys challenging cases, values a supportive team, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the OR every day, we'd love to meet you.

Neuro Pathway is partnering with a growing neurodiagnostic team that believes great patient care starts with great people. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit group where your expertise is valued, your input matters, and no two days are exactly alike.

What You'll Do

You'll provide real-time intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, helping surgeons make informed decisions and protecting patients during some of their most critical procedures. You'll utilize a variety of monitoring modalities, including:

  • Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEPs)
  • Transcranial Motor Evoked Potentials (TcMEPs)
  • Electromyography (EMG)
  • Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials (BAEPs)
  • Additional monitoring techniques as needed

Your case mix will keep you engaged and continuously learning, including:

  • Complex spine and orthopedic procedures
  • Vascular surgeries, including carotid endarterectomies
  • Craniotomies and other advanced neurosurgical cases

One week you may be helping restore mobility, the next you're supporting a delicate brain surgery. It's the kind of variety that reminds you why you chose this profession.

Why You'll Enjoy This Team

This isn't just another IONM position. It's a team built on collaboration, trust, and respect.

  • Oversight physicians who are responsive, engaged, and true clinical partners
  • Strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff who value the role of neurophysiological monitoring
  • A smaller team where your voice is heard and your contributions are recognized
  • An organization committed to growth, providing opportunities to expand your skills and advance your career
  • A culture where people genuinely enjoy working together—because the OR is challenging enough without unnecessary drama

What We're Looking For

  • CNIM certification preferred (candidates actively working toward certification are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience monitoring a variety of surgical procedures
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced operating room
  • Willingness to participate in a fair and shared weekend call rotation
  • A team-first attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time opportunity
  • Salary: $60,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience and certification
  • Comprehensive medical benefits
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
