IONM Professional - Neurophysiologist (DABNM)

Appleton, WI (Fox Cities) | Full-Time | Variable Schedule + Rotating Call

Our healthcare partner, a Joint Commission-accredited IONM provider monitoring more than 40,000 patients a year, is seeking an IONM professional who holds the D.ABNM certification or is eligible to sit for the D.ABNM exam in the Fox Cities (Appleton), WI area. You'll work alongside highly experienced IONM professionals, gain exposure to complex cases and advanced techniques, and provide in-person oversight alongside an in-house technologist. Relocation bonus available.

What You'll Do

• Perform IONM for assigned surgical procedures, including patient preparation, electrode placement, equipment setup, signal acquisition, and real-time monitoring.
• Evaluate IONM data, recognize significant changes, troubleshoot technical and physiological factors, and communicate findings promptly to surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Collaborate with IONM Technologists and remote interpreting physicians on interpretation and clinical response.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain IONM equipment.
• Document monitoring activities, observations, and case data accurately and in compliance with HIPAA.
• Provide education, mentoring, and clinical guidance to IONM Technologists.
• Participate in QA, case audits, performance improvement, research, and continuing education.
• Maintain flexibility for a variable surgical schedule, including add-on and emergency cases and rotating nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For

• D.ABNM preferred; required within the first 2 years of hire.
• 5+ years of advanced IONM experience required.
• Active CNIM certification required.
• PhD or MD in a related field, as defined by ABNM eligibility requirements.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, pathologic processes, and aseptic technique.
• Strong communication skills with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time with a variable weekly schedule based on surgical caseload.
• Rotating on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Local staff serving local facilities in the Fox Cities area, backed by a 24/7 operations support team.
• Must be able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
