Position Summary
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled IONM Technologist to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting patient safety and surgical outcomes by monitoring the integrity of the nervous system during complex procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
Perform and implement IONM procedures including EP, EEG, and EMG under the supervision of senior staff and according to established protocols
Conduct preoperative equipment checks and prepare for intraoperative and postoperative responsibilities
Identify proper stimulation and recording sites; apply electrodes and obtain baseline readings
Prepare equipment and supplies for required monitoring procedures
Confirm patient identity, surgeon, and procedure details, and communicate the monitoring plan with patients and caregivers
Monitor neurophysiologic activity throughout surgical procedures and effectively communicate any clinically significant changes
General Responsibilities:
Participate in after-hours call rotation for urgent cases
Provide departmental support in alignment with company goals and lab procedures
Qualifications:
CNIM certified or CNIM-eligible (required)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
Current AHA CPR certification
Minimum of 1 year of IONM experience
Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
