We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist to step into a leadership role on our dynamic inpatient EEG team. As a Clinical Shift Lead, you'll not only perform complex diagnostic studies but also serve as a key mentor, resource, and support system to your fellow techs. Lead Advanced EEG Procedures
Perform and maintain proficiency in inpatient EEGs, portable studies, ambulatory monitoring, WADA procedures, Evoked Potentials, and epilepsy monitoring. You'll apply electrodes, calibrate equipment, and adapt protocols to ensure high-quality, reliable recordings.
Set the Standard
Act as a point person for quality control, troubleshooting, and workflow management during your shift. You'll lead by example and help optimize patient outcomes through accurate, timely diagnostics.
Mentor and Support
Provide day-to-day guidance to techs and students. You'll offer feedback, help onboard new team members, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with providers, nursing teams, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care, especially during complex cases and urgent scenarios.
Stay Ahead of the Curve
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. You'll help shape and evolve our standards of care and department protocols.
Certification Required:
R.EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) through ABRET
BLS Certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a neurodiagnostic tech role
Strong proficiency in at least two modalities (EEG, EMG, EP, IONM, or LTM)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program preferred
In-depth knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and diagnostic techniques
A team-first attitude with a talent for mentoring and motivating peers
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to take initiative
The ability to prioritize and stay composed in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
Comfort with EMRs and intermediate computer skills
A passion for continuous learning and delivering exceptional patient care
Ability to lift and move patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Comfortable working in clinical, surgical, and critical care environments
Must be flexible and able to travel between units and facilities as needed
Potential exposure to bodily fluids; appropriate PPE provided
