Position Overview:
Are you a motivated neurodiagnostic professional looking to lead, mentor, and make a meaningful impact in the inpatient EEG space? We're seeking an experienced Clinical Shift Leader to support the overnight operations of our dynamic EEG team. In this pivotal role, you'll blend clinical expertise with leadership capabilities, helping to drive quality care, operational efficiency, and innovation across the neurophysiology department.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support the EEG technologists during night shifts, ensuring high-quality and timely care delivery

  • Act as a mentor and resource to staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment

  • Collaborate with leadership to align team goals with departmental objectives and quality benchmarks

  • Play a key role in team meetings, project management, and follow-through on action items from leadership initiatives

  • Participate in QA projects, innovation initiatives, and contributions to clinical posters, conferences, and research

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and population-specific care standards

  • Coordinate shift operations and communicate efficiently with the EEG Coordinator and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program or equivalent training

  • Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) through ABRET – required

  • Minimum of 3 years of EEG experience, ideally in an inpatient setting

  • Current BLS certification from the AHA or American Red Cross
