About the Role
As an Ambulatory EEG Technologist, you'll travel to patients’ homes to perform 72-hour EEG studies that are vital to diagnosing and managing epilepsy and other neurological conditions. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to patient homes or clinics to conduct EEG hookups using the 10/20 system

  • Provide a clear overview of procedures and answer patient questions

  • Collect high-quality EEG data that directly informs care plans

  • Monitor studies remotely and troubleshoot technical or patient issues as needed

  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain EEG equipment

  • Clip and scan studies and manage digital records

  • Participate in on-call rotations and support your team as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of EEG experience preferred

  • ABRET registration a major plus

  • CPR certified (required)

  • Comfortable with travel (up to 95%) and driving long distances—sometimes across state lines

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance required

  • Familiarity with EEG software, Microsoft Office, and remote monitoring tools

  • Access to high-speed internet and home printer/scanner

  • Experience with systems like Xltek, Nihon Kohden, or Trackit is a bonus

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential

You Should Also Know

  • You’ll need to lift up to 50 lbs, and sit or stand for extended periods

  • This role requires professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to exceptional patient care

  • You’ll play a key role in advancing at-home neurodiagnostic care
