Surgical Neurophysiologist (CNIM)

Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas | Full-Time | Monday–Friday Days

Neuro Pathway is conducting a confidential search for a CNIM-certified Surgical Neurophysiologist who wants more than just running cases. If you're an experienced IONM professional who takes pride in protecting patients, earning surgeons' trust and helping a practice grow, this is a role where your expertise and leadership will be seen and valued.

Our healthcare partner is an established intraoperative neuromonitoring provider serving surgeons and facilities across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. You'll join a close-knit clinical team with direct access to senior leadership, a varied surgical caseload, and a culture built on accountability, respect and patient safety.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Monday–Friday operating hours, 6am–6pm, adjusted to the surgery schedule
  • Additional compensation for weeknight, weekend and holiday call rotations
  • A varied caseload across spinal, pain, neuro and other procedures
  • Direct access to senior leadership and a real voice in how the practice grows
  • Room to lead, mentor and build lasting relationships with surgeons and facilities
  • A team culture grounded in mutual respect, ownership and psychological safety

What You'll Do

As the neuromonitoring expert in the OR, you'll safeguard patients and support surgeons from setup to close. You'll:

  • Perform intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) during spinal, pain, neuro and other procedures
  • Arrive one hour before the start of surgery to prepare for each case
  • Communicate clearly and calmly with surgeons, anesthesia and OR staff, especially in critical moments
  • Build strong professional relationships with surgeons, facilities and teammates to help grow the business
  • Educate patients about neuromonitoring and what to expect
  • Keep precise, up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Partner with clinical and operations leadership on scheduling, coverage and organizational goals

Every day brings a different mix of cases and schedules, and you'll be the steady, dependable presence that keeps patient care seamless.

What We're Looking For

  • Current CNIM certification from ABRET
  • At least two years of IONM experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (minimum)
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic office software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with a strong focus on patient care
  • Superior organization, attention to detail and time management
  • Composure and focus under pressure, with the ability to concentrate through long, demanding cases
  • Discretion with sensitive and confidential information
  • Flexibility with a changing daily schedule and the physical demands of the OR (extended standing, sitting, kneeling and bending)

Why Dallas–Fort Worth?

DFW is one of the country's largest and fastest-growing metro areas, with a busy healthcare community, a wide range of neighborhoods to call home, and no state income tax in Texas.
